the Singing Sixties

The Queen's Hall, Edinburgh, 12th August, 8.00pm

40 singers, sitting at tables positioned on the stage, rolling back the years with a singing session based on the sessions of the '60s. Party time!

The Singing Sixties celebrates the '60s folk choruses when Sandy Bell's Bar, and bars like it in Scotland, attracted world-famous musicians to join locals in mighty harmony. 40 folk singers on stage, household names (sometimes only in their own houses), including the award-winning "Ypres" chorus, singing 20+ songs. Barbara Dickson, Archie Fisher, Adam McNaughton, Dick Gaughan, Sangsters, Iain Rankin.
