Far, Far From Ypres is a critically acclaimed multimedia production featuring the songs, poems and stories of World War One as it follows the journey of young Scots soldier Jimmy MacDonald through the trenches.

With a cast of 27 performers, including Scottish folk scene favourites such as Barbara Dickson, Siobhan Miller, Dick Gaughan, Ian McCalman, Ian Bruce, Professor Gary West, Stephen Quigg, Mairi MacInnes and Stevie Palmer. The songs of the war are seamlessly linked by narrator Iain Anderson and accompanied by a range of projected images, bringing to life Scotland’s contribution to the war effort both on the front line and at home.
